Mrs. Greelish has been working with children since she herself was a teen! A Florida-certified teacher for over 20 years, she has worked in public school, private school, and home school settings and has extensive experience teaching all ages and abilities. She has expertise in standards-based curricula design and implementation, and many years of experience as a programs manager/operations director of child- and family-centered organizations in the Tampa Bay area. She is passionate about empowering children to learn and grow!
Ms. Becca Childs is a Tampa native, born and raised in Plant City, Florida. She is a 2017 graduate of USF where she got her degree in Philosophy and logged more than 180 community service hours for environmental causes like roadside and beach cleanups, as well as horse assisted therapy and more. Since graduating, she has worked with foster youth, immigrants, refugees and disabled adults through a variety of nonprofit organizations. In addition to her nonprofit work, Becca has hosted and participated in numerous comedy events, including standup shows, open mics, improv shows and workshops. Becca now serves as Liaison for Awareness USA, where she hopes to bring all of her experience to help the organization grow.
Ms. Kristyna Burczyk (pronounced Burr-Check) attended the University of Tampa, majoring in Communications, and minoring in Writing, Public Relations, and Marketing. For over 30 years, she has been an avid volunteer for a multitude of organizations, and previously served on the advisory board for the United Way of Tampa Bay. Kristyna is excited to return to the nonprofit sector, as our project management specialist and mentorship coordinator. She looks forward to helping AUSA expand our outreach.
Mrs. Keisha Martin is a former public school teacher turned entrepreneur. She is the owner and lead educator of Maximized Leaning, LLC. She holds a B.A. in Math Education and has over 13 years of combined experience as a tutor and classroom instructor. She loves to help students in grades K-12 and adults overcome learning obstacles in order to achieve their goals! Awareness USA is fortunate to have Mrs. Martin as a partner in education for our students who are in high school level math classes.
